‘What we stand for’

The Rotary Club of Basel am Rhein was founded on 24 September 2021 and is committed as a theme-based club around the topic "Empowerment of women and children". With this mission statement, we would like to make our contribution to the fulfilment of the Diversity - Equity and Inclusion theme. We are committed and established personalities from the Basel region who are committed to empowering, promoting and protecting women in the world. We would be pleased if you would support us to strengthen the topic EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN in the Basel region and in the Rotary world.

MOTTO OF THE YEAR

Our club offers the ideal setting for bringing together people from a wide range of backgrounds and making valuable contacts. ‘With this in mind, I am looking forward to an inspiring 2024/25 club year under the motto of networking and to many exciting encounters at our diverse events,’ says our president, Nicole Leuthardt.

This year saw the first major reshuffle in the board. We would like to thank all the previous board members for their tireless commitment. The new board is composed as follows:
